How we handle the small amount of personal data this site processes. In plain English.

1. Data controller

China Worx (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd. is the controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at info@china-worx.com. Our full identification details are in the Legal Notice.

2. What we collect

3. Purpose & legal basis

4. Hosting & international transfer

This site and its contact form run on Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States). Form submissions are transmitted to and stored with Netlify. This involves a transfer of personal data to a third country (the USA). The transfer is governed by a data-processing agreement and appropriate safeguards. [CONFIRM: Netlify DPA signed; record the safeguard relied upon, e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses.]

5. Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and to meet legal obligations — we retain enquiry data for 24 months for enquiries that do not lead to an engagement. Server logs are retained for a short period for security and then deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, and the right to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email info@china-worx.com.

7. Cookies & fonts

This site uses no tracking or analytics cookies. Fonts are self-hosted, so no font data is loaded from third-party servers. Only strictly necessary technical functions are used, so no consent banner is required. Should we add any non-essential technology later, we will ask for your consent first and block it until you opt in.

This policy is provided in good faith for EU visitors and is not legal advice. The final wording — particularly the international-transfer section — should be confirmed by a German-qualified lawyer before launch.
